Readers Theatre in Toronto
July 12-25, 2009
The 36th annual Readers Theatre International Workshop provides a hands-on, collaborative environment, with a curriculum that covers script-making, direction, performance, oral interpretation, and teaching methodology. The two-week program features a number of optional faculty-led activities.
Workshops are Monday–Friday mornings for two weeks with afternoons and evenings free to enjoy Toronto's museums, theatres, historical and cultural landmarks, and a variety of recreational spots.
The workshop is open to both credit and noncredit participants.
Credit students should expect to spend additional time outside of the classroom for research and reports.
Graduate students may study the techniques on a more scholarly level in our advanced courses (for returning participants).
