Criminology in Sweden
Faculty
Chris Powell, Chair and Associate Professor of Criminology. Professor Powell holds bachelors and masters degrees in Sociology from the Universities of London and Leeds, and a Phd, also in Sociology, from the University of Wales. He has been a regular visitor to all the Scandinavian countries, carrying out research primarily into Policing, Imprisonment and in Criminology as an institution. He has also lectured quite extensively. This will be Professor Powell's third summer bringing students to Sweden.
