Celebrate America Recycles Day this Tuesday 11/15!
- Bring your used printer catridges for recycling
- Bring any unwanted books or clothing for donation to Preble Street for Homelessness & Hunger Awareness Week.
Visit our tables in both student centers to learn more about recycling here and around the country. Tables are in the lobby of Woodbury Campus Center in Portland near the eatery entrance and Brooks Student Center in Gorham on the second level near the Dining Hall entrance.
Head to the America Recycles Day website and take the pledge to learn more about recycling, and recycle a new thing every month. Commit to recycle more of what you throw away, throw away less, and buy products made from recycled materials!
Here at USM we collect single stream recycling which allows us to capture a greater diversity of materials that can be recycled. Your hometown may also participate in the same program through EcoMaine. Learn more about all types of recycling at our Recycling Page!
