School of Social Work students raise awareness of homeless and need for affordable housing in Maine

On Thursday, April 25, Crystal White, a first-year student in the Master of Social Work program, and fellow classmates joined community leaders and advocates in downtown Portland to raise awareness of the homeless and the need for affordable housing in Maine.

Crystal and her classmates, all students in Professor David Wagner's course on homelessness, used knowledge and skills from their coursework to try to effect change in their community.
