Information Center

Created in 1994, the Information Center is here to assist with USM inquiries. The Center is located in the Telecommunications Department at 4 Payson Smith Hall in Portland. The phone number is 780-4000, fax number is 780-4933 and e-mail is infoctr@usm.maine.edu

The Information Center acts as a resource for the community as well as assisting USM faculty and staff. The Center answers many caller's questions, some very simple and straight forward and others requiring research and a return call. If you can not assist a caller, please transfer the call to the Information Center.

To provide accurate information the Information Center needs your help. If you are planning an event, conference or will have a visiting speaker on campus please notify the Center. Your help allows us to provide accurate information to callers when they ask about your event. You can click on the link above and notify us over the Internet or you can call, fax, mail or E-mail the information to us. The more the Information Center knows, the better everyone can be served.
