Affiliated Degrees and Certificates
- The Nature Tourism Minor is jointly offered by the Recreation and Leisure Studies program and the Department of Environmental Science and Policy in the College of Science, Technology, and Health. The minor combines coursework to provide students with an introductory knowledge of ecotourism, outdoor recreation leadership, and nature interpretation.
- The Minor in Tourism and Community Development is offered through the Geography-Anthropology program. This minor provides a practical and critical understanding of the role of tourism in local and regional economic development.
- The Minor in Sport Tourism is offered by the School of Business and is designed for students in all majors. The minor provides a broad overview of important sport tourism concepts and issues, and covers subjects such as sport marketing, sponsorship, hospitality, and event and venue management.
