Before coming to USM's Tourism and Hospitalty Department as an instructor, plus, being the Chair of the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs at SMCC, Maureen worked at St. Joseph’s College, where She was director of the Alfond Center, events and wellness, as well as an adjunct professor. She has also taught at Johnson & Wales University and York County Community College, and once was the innkeeper at Kennebunkport’s award-winning White Barn Inn.
