USM's Three Vibrant Campuses

Explore USM's three dynamic campuses, where you'll have exciting opportunities to get involved in the intellectual, economic, and cultural life of our surrounding communities. Our expansive residential campus in Gorham is the hub of undergraduate life and is closely connected via shuttle bus to our lively urban campus in Portland, Maine’s largest city and the region’s economic and cultural capital. Our friendly, close-knit Lewiston campus is accessible, too, and engaged with the surrounding communities of Central Maine.

Complete your undergraduate degree at USM. With bachelor's programs offered both on campus and online, you can tailor your program to meet the demands of work, family, and school. Through USM's Office of Prior Learning Assessment, you may gain academic credit for skills and knowledge you've acquired on the job, in the military, or through community involvement.

Online Programs

Explore bachelor's and master's degrees that are fully achievable online. Taught by USM faculty, our online programs meet the same rigorous standards as our traditional, on-campus degree programs. We provide online support services that include tutoring, tech support, and academic advising through both a Faculty Advisor and an Online Student Success Advisor.
