Eric Rutberg earned his Doctorate degree in Health Education, a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
Over the past 20 years, Eric has held positions in higher education as Assistant Director of Career Development and as a College Counselor. He has taught courses in Psychology, Rehabilitation and College Mental Health. He has held leadership positions with mental health agencies, the Maine Counseling Association and The Maine Mental Health Counseling Association.
Eric’s research experience includes contributing as a collaborative investigator for the DSM-5 workgroup on PTSD and The Moral Courage Project. He is a licensed clinical counselor in private practice and is passionate about providing engaging, online courses as a Lecturer II in the Adult and Higher Education Program at the University of Southern Maine.
