Pam grew up in both Portland and Gorham a couple of blocks from each campus. She has lived in Florida, Virginia, and Hawaii, and still prefers Maine (spring, summer, and fall specifically). She has worked at USM since returning to Maine in 1987 and made the move to Advising from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Dean’s Office. As an academic advisor on the Portland Campus, Pam enjoys helping students to be more successful and have a positive experience at USM. She is a liaison with the departments of Communication and Media Studies, English, and Liberal Studies – Humanities.
Pam received both her undergraduate degree in Applied Technical Leadership and Master’s degree in Adult Education with a focus in Training and Development from USM. She has also received training in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Global Career Development, Strengths. In her spare time, Pam enjoys lazy walks through museums, theatre, flower gardening, and Dr. Who.
