FALL 2021 FOUNDATION PORTFOLIO REVIEW
Art Students must submit a portfolio of their artwork to be reviewed by the Art Department faculty after completing their freshman Art foundation courses, and is a requirement for all Art Majors, excluding Art History. Each portfolio follows a set of guidelines, and contains 12 submissions in five categories: three in 2-D Design, two in 3-D Design, three in Drawing, three Open Submissions, and one Self-Portrait. This process allows for identification of the student’s overall strengths and any weaknesses that must be addressed in order to matriculate within the Department of Art. This exhibition celebrates the fall 2021 semester Portfolio Review.
Fall 2021 Portfolios were submitted online due to the Coronavirus. Twelve students submitted their portfolios for the fall review, and all twelve students passed. This virtual exhibition highlights two works from each student's portfolio, and represents the diversity of creative expression within the Art Department's student body.
