Foreign Language Placement Exam Registration Information

Students who have previous language study may want to take a Placement test to help determine their level. This should be done prior to the semester in which they plan to enroll in a USM language course. The exam is a multiple choice exam an takes 1 hour. Cost for this exam is $15.00, and can be paid the day of the exam.  Payment can be made in the form of a check payable to "USM" or cash.
 
Students who have studied French or Spanish should make arrangements with the Office of Academic Assessment to take the French Placement Test.

Individual  times and dates (M-F) will be offered for the French and Spanish Placement Tests.
