"I couldn't be happier than to see BL inducted to the CoSIDA Hall of Fame. What a great honor and so very well deserved. He's been in the sports information/athletic media relations business for nearly 40 years, and his work ethic is truly amazing, beyond expectation, and he is absolutely one of the most dependable and dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure to work with," commented University of Southern Maine Director of Athletics, Al Bean. "A true professional, well-informed, highly respected and one of the most ethical people I know, BL also serves USM as its NCAA Compliance Officer. I have complete confidence in his abilities to keep our staff informed and educated regarding NCAA rules and regulations including annual changes in policies.
