Williamson Selected for NEWVA Senior Classic All-Star Game

            GORHAM, Maine -- The New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) announced today that University of Southern Maine senior Jess Williamson (Goffstown, N.H.) will be among the participants playing this Sunday (December 3) at the NEWVA Senior Classic All-Star Game and Skills Competition.  The event will held at the Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gym on the campus Emerson College.

            The day's activities include a Knockout and Queen of the Court competitions in the morning. Following lunch, the players will participate in the Senior Classic All-Star Game.  The day wraps up with awards presentations.

            The 2017 Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Year and first team all-conference selection, Williamson is the first USM player to be selected to play in the NEWVA Senior Classic All-Star Game.  The 2014 LEC Rookie of the Year, Williamson was the first USM volleyball player to win the LEC Offensive Player of the Year award.  During her four-year career at USM, Williamson was named to the all-conference squad all four years adding a second-team honor in the 2014 season to three consecutive first-team selections.  READ MORE
