Originally from Pennsylvania, Jenna first fell in love with Maine when she was 12 years old. She earned a B.S. in Public Policy from Penn State University and moved to the Portland area the following year. Jenna is currently working on her Master's degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health and is excited to incorporate the evidence-based compassion and contemplative practices she's learned through Center programs into her future work as a counseling professional. Prior to joining the Center for Compassion, she worked in state government, in public schools, and in the social work field.
