Intimate moments sit beside dramatic flair. \nYou’ll hear the lush lyricism of Edvard Grieg and the playful\, folk-inspired writing of Lukas Foss. Margaret Sutherland’s Nocturne offers a quiet\, reflective beauty\, while Fazıl Say’s Black Earth is earthy\, intense\, and deeply expressive. Ellen Taaffe Zwilich’s Fantasy for Solo Violin is daring and virtuosic.
