Greetings USM Community!
The Career & Employment Hub is excited to invite you to the 5th annual Hussey Leadership Institute kicking off later this month! The event returns this year as a six part virtual series themed around Leading from Every Angle: Taking the 360 View of Leadership. Sessions will run Monday, March 28th thru Friday, April 8th and will take place from 12pm-1pm EST via Zoom every Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
Kate Ebner, the founding director of the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University, and founder and CEO of The Nebo Company will kick things off with a conversation around the role innovation plays in our leadership approaches and successes. She will be followed by several leaders from the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors who represent start-up ventures, academics, consulting, and corporations, before we conclude the series with Katie Burke, Chief People Officer of Hubspot. Katie will close out this year’s Institute by examining the ways leaders must see the big picture while keeping an organization moving forward.
Each session will deliver tips and techniques that you can bring back to the classroom or the office and start using immediately.
The Hussey Leadership Institute is free to attend when you register with a maine.edu email address and is open to staff, faculty, and students. We look forward to you joining us.
