Michelle Drucker, M.Ed.
Michelle Drucker is a Career Advisor in the Career & Employment Hub. She is passionate about serving as a catalyst and coach for others to explore, identify and achieve their interests, potential and goals.
Michelle has worked in a variety of professional environments, which include non-profit, corporate, and higher education. She has a background in Human Resources (HR), primarily in the areas of learning and development, organizational development, and leadership. Michelle previously worked in HR at USM for twelve years, including as the Director of Leadership and Organizational Development. After eight years working in other organizations, she returned to her USM “home” as a Career Advisor in the summer of 2018.
To support her work, Michelle is a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, uses StrengthsFinder, completed a professional coaching program through the University of Miami, and is an accredited coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Michelle is a native of Alaska, and has lived in Maine for thirty years. Volunteering her time is important to her, and she currently serves on the Board of Girls on the Run-Maine. Michelle enjoys spending time in the outdoors, and can often be found sea kayaking, running, hanging at the beach, gardening, snowshoeing, and skiing (though not at the same time!).
Michelle received a BA in Sociology/Public Administration and an M.Ed. in Health Education/Higher Education from the University of Arizona.
