Maine Jewish Museum Panel Discussion: Can We Talk? Building Bridges Instead of Walls

Maine Jewish Museum invites you to a panel discussion with artist/educator Daniel Minter, historian Dr. Leroy Rowe, and artist/scholar Dr. Paula Gerstenblatt.

Thursday, October 6, 4:00-5:30PM

Can We Talk? Building Bridges Instead of Walls

Panelists will discuss how art represents complex narratives, specifically the historic relationship between American Black and Jewish communities, and how art has the power to open dialogue and spark needed reckoning and positive change. Dr. Gerstenblatt's current exhibit, Generational Layers, will anchor and contextualize the discussion. Audience participation is welcome and encouraged!
