University of Southern Maine’s President Glenn Cummings recently announced a $50,000 gift from Presque Isle-based MMG Insurance to support the University’s program in Risk Management and Insurance (RMI). Specifically, the gift will bolster the endowment for the MEMIC John T. Leonard Endowed Chair in Risk Management and Insurance, which honors the legacy of retired MEMIC CEO John Leonard who was instrumental in establishing the RMI program at USM.
