Commencement 2020: Online at 8:45 a.m., Saturday, May 9

The University of Southern Maine will celebrate the achievements of its 2020 graduates in an online Commencement program, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9.  

The online program features a Commencement address to all graduates from USM senior Leyla M. Hashi and includes remarks from President Glenn Cummings as well as Dr. David Howes, President and CEO of Martin’s Point Health Care, and Dr. Edison Liu, President and CEO of The Jackson Laboratory.

Join USM Student Activities & Involvement for Class of 2020 Events

An in-person ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd as part of the USM Homecoming Weekend. Stay tuned for updated information this summer.

Apply to Graduate

In the meantime, make sure you Apply to Graduate. To do so, log into MaineStreet, select Student Self Service, then Student Center, then other academic, then apply for graduation, and follow the prompts.
