Feed your participants well – while staying in your budget. We highly recommend USM's catering services through our selected vendor, Sodexo when hosting an event on campus. Select the perfect menu for your participants from a wide range of options. Whether it’s a simple coffee break, professional luncheon, cocktail reception or an elegant dinner, USM catering can do it all. The food is delicious and the presentation is impressive and polished.
To place an order contact your meeting planner at Conference Services at 780-5960 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. While we make every effort to accommodate last minute orders, we cannot guarantee your fist choice selections can be fulfilled. We recommend when planning events for larger groups that you make your menu selections at least four (4) weeks in advance.
Minimums are clearly listed for all menus. Please consult your event planner for information regarding charges for events not meeting the minimum guidelines.

Unless prior arrangements are made, direct billing for all food service events, excluding deposit, will be done by USM Conference Services approximately two weeks after the event. All direct billing is inclusive and will itemize all charges incurred for the University of Southern Maine services, space, and equipment rental. Payment in full is due within thirty days of receipt of the invoice. All requests for alternative billing arrangements must be pre-approved by USM Conference Services. All prices are subject to change, but at least thirty days notice will be provided.
A 20% service fee will be added to all food service.
All meals are planned for a maximum of two hours. Additional costs incurred will be passed on to groups with extended service periods or scheduled programs.
Your final invoice will be based on your final guest count provided or the number of guests in attendance at the event- whichever is greater.
We understand that last minute cancellations are unavoidable. We will work with you to minimize your charges. But you will be responsible for any costs that are incurred by the catering department up to the time of cancellation.
Special requests are typically easily accommodated. If you do not see what you are looking for in our menus, please let us know. We can design a menu to suit your taste and budget.
