BIO 111 Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: 100 level or higher MAT (C); or SAT Math >=570; or Accuplacer QAS>=263; or USM Math Placement STST1>=14
Description: The course is the first semester of a two-semester sequence concerning the structure and function of the human body. The course focuses on the study of cell chemistry, cell physiology, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscle system, and nervous system. It is appropriate for nursing and allied health majors and does not fulfill requirements of the biology major. Prerequisite: SAT Math score 570 or greater; or Accuplacer QAS score 263 or greater; or any 100 level MAT course with minimum grade of C. Cr 3.
