Google Sites is a structured wiki and web page creation tool that is part of the Google Apps productivity suite. Anyone can build a team-oriented site where multiple people can collaborate and share files/ideas. Google Docs can work in conjunction with Google Sites when you elect to embed files into a page on the site.
The creation of a site is very simple. You can create a site by authenticating with your UMaine system account at https://sites.google.com and clicking on the 'Create' button. Follow the remaining prompts to name your site, choose your custom URL, theme and available options.
