Experience: Alison is a Research Analyst at the Catherine E. Cutler Institute for Population Health and Health Policy at the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine. In 2010 Alison joined USM’s epidemiology team embedded at the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Augusta. She provides data management, analytical and SAS programming support to the epidemiology team for a variety of programs including maternal and child health, chronic disease, cancer surveillance, health equity and injury prevention.
Areas of Expertise
An experienced trainer, Alison presents on topics related to advocacy and sexual violence particularly within a multidisciplinary response. Alison has presented at local, state, and national trainings as well as the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
Alison served as a field instructor for the Department of Social Work at the University of New Hampshire as well as an adjunct faculty instructor of Psychology at Central Maine Community College.
