Catherine Gunn is a Senior Data Resources Coordinator in the Disability and Aging program area of the Cutler Institute and Muskie School of Public Service. She has worked with the collection, management and analysis of healthcare data for multiple projects and initiatives for more than 15 years. Project work includes the implementation and management of the Value-Based Purchasing Management System for Maine’s DHHS and supporting the ongoing case mix reimbursement program for residential care facilities and adult family care homes based on the Minimum Data Set. Her work has involved the development and testing of various health structures, administrator of secure web portals for collection and dissemination of health data, producing user guides, and conducting trainings for the systems through webinars, live trainings, and one‐on-one trainings. Catherine serves as the first contact for all health care providers, assisted living facilities, software vendors, and Maine DHHS for any questions and technical needs for these systems.
Areas of Expertise
Developing user-friendly applications and reporting systems of healthcare data, analysis of MaineCare data, communicating with providers and DHHS on various systems, and management of project work.
