Maine Rural Health Research Center funded for another four years

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce that the Maine Rural Health Research Center (MRHRC) was awarded one of seven federally-funded grants from the Health Resources and Services Administration to conduct national rural health policy studies.

Led by Erika Ziller (Director) and Yvonne Jonk (Deputy Director), the MRHRC’s research agenda will continue to build on its extensive portfolio in understanding access to rural health services and the role of state and federal policy, with an emphasis on health insurance coverage and affordability. Additional research topics include behavioral health, long-term services and supports, and rural health clinics.
