On September 6, 2017 Pamela Prevost and Nicholas Curlew from Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN) presented at the National Registry Workforce Alliance Conference about MRTQ PDN’s Technical Assistance (TA) System which includes onsite consultation, communities of practice, and resources to assist early care and education practitioners of all settings in becoming collaborative problem solvers. Through the use of the MRTQ Registry database, consultants statewide work with programs to set goals and develop action plans as they work to provide quality care for all children in Maine.
This conference presentation focused on an overview of Maine's integrated TA system, how Maine links TA reporting to the Registry database, including professional growth hours for practitioners participating in TA activities; and how linking TA to the Registry informs data collection.
