In her capacity as Project Coordinator, Susie creates detailed work plans, timelines and trackers to ensure quality data and timely reports. In addition, she makes projections to facilitate decision-making by the management team. She works closely with team members to expedite work flow. Susie analyzes and reports on quantitative grant data for OVW Supervised Visitation grant and assists with 2 other grant programs. She also provides technical assistance to OVW grantees on how to report their grant activities and assists with special data requests. Furthermore, Susie creates and maintains the “red flag” reports for more than 22 grant programs which are cleaned in Access. These reports help to identify potential reporting errors that may need additional grantee input to resolve apparent discrepancies. She also writes syntax to extract data from SPSS and works with data in Excel to provide and/or check the statistics used in the Reports to Congress. Susie received a Master of Public Policy and Management and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Advanced Research and Evaluation Methods in 2004 from the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine. Susie is an organic farmer in her spare time, and loves to play games especially Settlers of Catan and Words with friends.
