Telehealth Brings Reproductive Health Care to Rural Maine Women with Opioid Use Disorder

Kate Ahrens, public health faculty and research staff in the Maine Rural Health Research Center, co-authored an article describing an innovative pilot program in Maine aimed to increase reproductive health access for women with opioid use disorder via telehealth. Findings suggest that on-site provision of reproductive health care through telehealth at community organizations serving women with opioid use disorder have the potential to increase access to reproductive care for this population.
