Situations requiring an immediate response from police, fire, and/or ambulance:
Call USM Public Safety Campus Phone: Dial 911 or 5211 All other Phones: Dial 207-780-5211 |
On the Lewiston Campus, Call Lewiston Police Campus Phone: Dial 9-911 All other Phones: Dial 784-6421 |
Public Safety will contact all necessary on and off-campus Emergency Responders. | Call Lewiston PD and THEN notify the Dean 207-753-6594 or x6594 from a campus phone |

Other Serious Situations
Situations that may not require immediate action to preserve life or property. These situations do require swift action by the University, a continuity of care, and may involve emergency responders at some point. If in doubt call USM Public Safety; if on the Lewiston Campus call Lewiston PD and the Dean’s Office.
The contact will ensure that information about resources, accommodations, and complaint procedures are provided.
