Christopher Horack

Christopher received his BS in Hospitality Management from Endicott College in Beverly, MA and his MA in Higher Education from Elon University in North Carolina. After graduating from Endicott, he spent time working on Chebeague Island at the Chebeague Island Inn, before deciding to pursue a career in higher education. His highly impactful undergraduate experience led him to want to work in a field where he could create similar experiences for college students. During his time at Elon, Christopher studied higher education with a cohort of 12 amazing humans and served as the graduate apprentice for student wellness where he oversaw Elon’s peer health education initiatives in the areas of Mental Fitness, Sexual and Relationship Health, and Substance Education. As a member of the USM community Christopher seeks to support students in their pursuits both in and out of the classroom and create exceptional experiences for residential students. Areas of particular interest to Christopher continue to be LGBTQIA+ Student Support, Student Belonging, and Student Health and Wellness.
