Brady Brickner-Wood was born and raised in New Hampshire. He studied literature at the University of New Hampshire and earned his MFA in fiction from Texas State University, where he served as the Managing Editor for the program’s literary journal, Porter House Review. He is a frequent contributor to Pitchfork, where he writes about music. His essays and criticism have also appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Texas Monthly, Chicago Review of Books, Ploughshares, Harvard Review, McNeese Review, and elsewhere. His short fiction has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review and Quarterly West, and he’s currently working on a novel.
