Originally from Pennsylvania, Jenna first fell in love with Maine when she was 12 years old.  Prior to joining the Center for Compassion as an Administrative Specialist in 2019, Jenna worked in state government, in public schools, and in the social work field. She is currently working on a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is looking forward to incorporating the evidence-based compassion and contemplative practices she’s learned through Center programs into her work as a counseling professional.  For the 2022-2023 academic year, Jenna will be the Graduate Assistant for the Center for Compassion, which includes supporting the Anti-Racism Institute, as well as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Sustainability.
