Kris is the Director of the Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN), the State funded training and technical assistance system for Early Childhood and Youth Development professionals. This includes the statewide professional recognition registry, training system, credentials, and technical assistance system in addition to collaborating with the various MRTQ PDN partners.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Masters’s degree in Special Education with a specialization in children birth-five and over 26 years of experience in Early Childhood and Special Education in private, public, home, and community-based settings.
As a former Teacher, Director, Case Manager, Consultant, and State Administrator in both the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education, Kris has expertise in system design, implementation science, and evaluation in addition to facilitating the use of efficient oversight, monitoring, and technical assistance activities that support ongoing program improvement and improved results for children and families in both the public and private sectors.
