Louisa is a Research Analyst II within the Catherine Cutler Institute’s Population Health and Health Policy program area. She conducts qualitative and quantitative research, program evaluation, and policy analysis utilizing skills in data visualization and graphic design. Her portfolio of work with the Catherine Cutler Institute includes a wide variety of research and evaluation initiatives, with recent projects focusing on the health of rural Americans living in poverty, improving Maine’s 988 Crisis Response System, and the healthcare experience and health status of children enrolled in MaineCare.
Louisa began her career at the Catherine Cutler Institute as a Graduate Assistant in 2018 and received her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School of Public Service in 2020.
She is passionate about improving health status and access to health care among vulnerable populations through the implementation of evidence-based health policy reform.
