Rebecca Anderson

Becky is a Counseling Intern and student at the University of Southern Maine.  Becky received her undergraduate degree from Colby College in 2007 and Masters of Education from Simmons University in 2013.  She is credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in the State of Maine, and most recently served in this capacity at a residential treatment center for substance use disorder.  Becky’s clinical experience has also included the treatment of eating disorders. Her approach is holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.  Passionate about experiential modalities, she incorporates  expressive arts, mindfulness, and other embodiment practices into the work.  Becky also draws from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. 

Outside of the office, Becky enjoys spending time in nature, gathering with family, and engaging in creative pursuits.
