Charmaine is originally from Killington, Vermont. She received her BA from USM in 2007 and her MA from American University in Washington, DC in 2011. She began working with college students with disabilities as a graduate student at American University in 2009.
She loves to travel and experience other cultures; travel destinations have included Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and several trips, including a semester abroad as a USM undergraduate, to Japan. Additionally, she loves foreign languages and has taken classes in French, Spanish, Latin, Japanese and Korean.
