Congratulations to Mikaela Shields, a newly commissioned second lieutenant in the Army. On Friday, May 10, 2nd LT Shields took the Oath of Commissioned Officers, received her gold bars, and returned her first salute. 2nd Lt Shields will be commissioned as a New Hampshire Army National Guard Medical Services officer and attend Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Sam in Houston, TX.
