Profile
Katherine's research and teaching interests include Enlightenment, Romanticism and our contemporary inheritance of them, psychogeography, travel narratives, nature writing, spatial studies, ecocriticism and spiritual ecology, women and gender, gardens, and the history and literature of science. Her dissertation, Disruptive Geographies, explored literary psychogeographies of trauma and the possibility of a sustainable poetics. She writes non-fiction and is currently at work on a series of nature and travel essays, as well as a book project. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Muße, Elsewhere, and Canary.
