Lisa Hibl is the Director of the Russell Scholars Program at USM, a living-learning community based on the Gorham campus. Her classes often focus on the human relationship to nature, which her own poetry and research explore, and on relationships between literature and the other arts. In the spirit of building community, she works with student Peer Mentors and volunteers with the Poetry Out Loud project at a local high school.
