DES student Miguel Barajas was featured in a special issue of Maine Policy Review (page 99) for his work with Drs. Karen Wilson and Theo Willis. Together they are members of an interdisciplinary Sustainability Solutions Initiative research team at Bowdoin, Bates, and USM studying alewife restoration in the Kennebec and Androscoggin rivers, and the ecological and economic impacts of these efforts on fisheries and economies from the headwaters to the coast.
