Peter Burke is a self employed landscape architect with an ever changing variety of projects, from private gardens to multifamily housing to environmental remediation. He collaborates with homeowners, builders, architects, engineers, ecologists, artists, and developers, and strives for “Meaning” in his work. He teaches ESP 417 Site Planning and Design, where he loves challenging students with site specific real world design projects. Past courses have created landscape master plans for an urban park in Westbrook and student quads at USM Portland and Gorham.
