Improve Your English This Summer!

The USM ESOL Program's Intensive English Language Program is starting soon. From July 18th to August 12th we will be offering two courses:

ESOL Students Go Bowling at Easy Day

On November 9, ESOL and International students had a fun day at the local bowling center, Easy Day in South Portland. Students and instructors participated in this afternoon excursion to learn about and participate in a game of bowling.

Apple Picking in Limerick, Maine!

Students of USM's ESOL program had the opportunity to participate in a New England tradition on October 7 on an apple picking excursion to beautiful Libby & Sons orchards in Limerick, Maine.

Husky Harvest ESOL/Tourism Collaboration

On October 8, students in the ESOL program's grammar courses had the opportunity to work with USM's Tourism and Hospitality students to discuss food and culture in preparation for the upcoming Husky Harvest Festival.

IELP Summer Program Peak's Island Excursion

On Tuesday, July 28, our afternoon speaking and listening class traveled to Peak's Island aboard the Casco Bay Lines ferry for a guided tour of the island neighborhoods.
