USM Faculty Resources

Introduction:

This page, maintained by the University of Southern Maine’s ESOL Program,  aims to provide faculty, instructors, and staff with a variety of resources for supporting and serving USM’s non-native English speaking students. Multilingual students on campus include international undergraduate and graduate students as well as matriculated and non-matriculated community members. This includes transfer students, local residents, and U.S. citizens.

Connecting with USM’s ESOL Department:

USM ESOL’s staff are experts in the field of English language learning in higher education and are excited to speak with you about any questions you may have regarding multilingual learners in your classrooms. In addition to individual consultations, we also offer workshops, presentations, and Q and A sessions for faculty and staff departments.

Please complete our USM ESOL Referral Form to make a request or ask us a question.

If you have questions for specific staff members, please connect with us on ESOL Faculty Page.
