The USM Department of Theatre begins its season on Sept. 30 with Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood." The show will be performed on the main stage of Russell Hall on the Gorham campus, from September 30 through Oct. 9.

The presentation will focus on families of at-risk youth and complexities that surround the development of and solutions for mental health concerns. The panelists will share insights and expertise on helping families to recognize risks, and work with professionals to find support and services that will promote positive mental health outcomes for youth. This event is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the USM Counselor Education, Social Work and Muskie Public Policy programs, with the support of USM’s Office of Community Engagement.
