A year before Joshua Dodge served as the Secretary General of the Maine Model United Nations — helping more than 500 high schoolers understand the U.N. path toward diplomacy and peace — the USM student learned from the source. For a semester, Dodge served as an intern with the U.S. Department of State, working from an office across the street from the U.N.'s landmark headquarters in Manhattan.
