Graduate Internship Application

Please fill out this application if you are interested in becoming a graduate Food Studies Program intern. This application does not guarantee you an internship. Once your application is received, the Program will contact you to schedule an internship interview.

Applications are due at least 1 month before the start of the semester for which you are applying.


You must be a USM student (enrolled in at least 3 credits for the semester you are applying for) to be eligible for this program.
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 30 credits to be eligible for this program. All graduate students are eligible.
You must have at least a 2.7 to be eligible for this program.
If funding is limited, preference is given to students who have completed or are currently enrolled in a FSP course.

I understand that for my application to be complete, I must send a resume and customized cover letter for EACH position to which I am applying to at least one month before the start of the semester for which I am applying (by the end of July for fall internships, the end of November for spring internships, and the end of March for summer internships).
