Franco-American Collection

Finding Aid

An overview of the Collection's unpublished holdings (i.e. newspaper clippings, photographs, ephemera) can be found in our updated Finding Aid.

The Finding Aid is organized according to the Library of Congress cataloging system, of which an outline is provided on the first page.  Selecting a subject heading will link to more detailed entries.

Please note that the Finding Aid is not a complete inventory of the Collection; instead it represents a folder-level summary of our holdings, designed to aid researchers.  For more specific inquiries, feel free to contact the Coordinator directly.

For published materials (books, periodicals), please consult the University's URSUS catalog.

Winter/Spring Open Hours

The Collection is generally open Monday-Thursday, from 10am - 4pm, although it will sometimes be closed to accommodate the Coordinator's schedule, especially in the mornings.  Call (753-6545) or e-mail ( before visiting if you wish to confirm that it will be open.
