Finding Aids

The Franco-American Collection is divided into several sections - some items are arranged by subject (religion, sport, politics, etc.) while others are arranged by individual or family. 

Please note that the Collection's material is not cataloged at item level.  For more information about a particular section or inquiries about a particular item, please submit a research request.

The Subject Finding Aid gives an overview of the Collection and details the extent of the material listed under subject headings.

The Dissertations and Theses Finding Aid lists all the research papers within the Collection.  Several are unpublished student theses.

The Biographical Finding Aid lists those collections which represent the lives of individuals and are organized accordingly.

A number of collections have detailed finding aids of their own available.  Dates following the names represent the dates of material in these collections (not the biographical dates of the individuals concerned):
